12 Oct All Star Services Goes Live with New Home Delivery Program

Port Huron, Michigan based All Star Services has become the first operator in the U.S. to go live with LightSpeed’s new home delivery program. This new feature allows LightSpeed customers to quickly pivot and offer home delivery of their product offerings. Now that office buildings are sitting empty, all the perks that were easy to provide before Covid, like work anniversary’s and birthdays, are more difficult or nonexistent. With home delivery, All Star can offer their customers a way to recognize their employees, assist local charities with fund raising projects and provide the same snacks they had at the office in the comfort of their home.

“We were very excited when LightSpeed approached us about this new program”, said Duncan Smith, President & COO of All Star Services. “Like many of our fellow operators a “new normal” was in place and we needed to find a way to service it. From the research that we’ve done, home delivery is here to stay. People have grown comfortable with having food delivered to their door and that is not going away even after the pandemic is long gone.  This provides us with a chance to build a new revenue stream and a direct customer base no matter where they work”.
